Have you ever noticed how sometimes the image/document is smudged in your photocopy, or in general is not in good quality? The culprit here could be the dirty glass in your Xerox machine . Many image quality problems, like lines, spots, smudges, deletions, are caused by dirty platen glass or Constant Velocity Transport (CVT) glass.
